It has the Original Bottle Cap in place. I carefully removed the cap and checked...NO dings or nicks on the Lip! This is Not a repro and comes from an Estate Sale. This is a Very Early Version of an ACL and Embossed Silk Stocking Nehi 12 Ounce Soda with the Good Housekeeping Seal on it. It is Date Coded on bottom 1939 made by Owens-Illinois Glass Company. It reads: NEHI BEVERAGES---REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.---NET CONTENTS 12 FLU. OZS.. The backside Label reads: EVERY BOTTLE STERLIZED---TESTED AND APPROVED---SERIAL NO. 4897---BY GOOD HOUSEKEEPING BUREAU---CONDUCTED BY GOOD HOUSEKEEPING MAGAZINE---PROPERTY OF NEHI BOTTLLING CO.---TUPLEO, MISS. It is Embossed on Bottom: DESIGN PAT'D MAR. 3, 25. The Condition is Very Nice with No dings, No chips, No cracks, and No repairs. It is Very Clean with Strong Glossy Paint. It has a scuffed area to the right of the I in NEHI. The rest of Paint and Bottle is Brilliant.
