Condition:
Crown top soda bottle that is shiny opaque black glass with no chips, no cracks and no flakes. There are some surface scratches. Bottom is boldly embossed "Mission Dry Sparkling". The bottle dates about 1920 and they used this black bottle for their Orange Sparkling" brand. A paper label would have been on the bottle. When I shined a super bright spot light on the bottle, I only saw a few tiny purple sparkles in tiny original imperfections in the glass surface. Most dense solid black glass is very dark black amethyst made by adding manganese to the glass.
