Handsome fold-out 1973 Conoco road map of Nebraska, printed more than 48 years ago.
The map opens to 18" x 27" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by H.M. Gousha.
On the reverse side there are inset plans of Lincoln, Grand Island, North Platte, Hastings, Fremont, and Omaha.
This map was distributed by the Continental Oil Company of Denver in 1973 and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 8-UU.
Little triangle symbols locate Conoco gas stations, and there's a Conoco credit card ad on the back cover. There's a photo of a waterskier on the front cover.
Condition:
This map is in very good, lightly used condition, bright and clean, with
no
rips or tears. A previous owner has circled a couple of locations north of Grand Island; there are no other marks or writing. Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions.
