Handsome fold-out 1966 Conoco road map of Nebraska, printed more than 55 years ago.
The map opens to 18" x 27" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by H.M. Gousha.
On the reverse side there are inset plans of Lincoln, Grand Island, North Platte, Hastings, Fremont, Omaha, and the Black Hills region of South Dakota.
This map was distributed by the Continental Oil Company of Denver in 1966 and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 10-NN.
Little triangle symbols locate Conoco gas stations, and there's a Conoco branding iron and the slogan "Hottest Brand Going..." on the back cover. There's a photo of a waterskier on the front cover.
