    Description

    Handsome fold-out 1964 Conoco road map of North Dakota and South Dakota, printed more than 56 years ago.
    The map opens to 18" x 30½" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by H.M. Gousha.
    North Dakota is on one side; South Dakota is on the other.
    There's an inset plan of the Black Hills region, between Spearfish and Hot Springs.
    The map was distributed by the Continental Oil Company in 1964 and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 10-LL.
    Little triangles locate Conoco service stations. The photo on the front cover shows a man waterskiing, and there's a Conoco branding iron and the slogan "Hottest Brand Going..." on the back cover.
